At 18:52 on Monday, 2 January, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Shed Fire in Newport.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Small fire within large shed
