At 17:31 on Thursday, 2 February, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Ludlow.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Ludlow.

This incident was a false alarm caused by the controlled burning of waste material at the location. The occupiers were in attendance monitoring the situation therefore no fire service action required.
