At 13:21 on Saturday, 4 February, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Craven Arms .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Craven Arms.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• 9/10.5m ladder
• Hosereel jet

Embers from control burn which had been carried by wind to hollow tree which was alight. Crews used one hose reel jet and one short extension ladder to extinguish.
