At 14:49 on Tuesday, 7 February, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Baschurch and Ellesmere. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident involved one saloon vehicle which had left the carriageway and came to rest in the hedgerow. The occupant was assisted from the vehicle by fire service personnel.
