At 21:40 on Tuesday, 21 February, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Reports of fire in the open which proved to be an unattended bonfire. Fire crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish fire.
