At 16:17 on Wednesday, 22 February, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Albrighton and Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency.

This incident was a false alarm caused by the overheating of a car engine.
