At 18:05 on Thursday, 23 February, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Telford.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Albrighton and Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

This incident was a false alarm due to a broken turbo. Thorough inspection of vehicle carried out using thermal imaging camera to check tempertures.
