At 21:22 on Saturday, 18 March, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Bin Fire in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Much Wenlock.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

This incident involves 2 wheelie bins completely burnt caused by discarded hot ashes.
