At 07:48 on Tuesday, 28 March, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Shrewsbury.

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

This incident was a false alarm with good intent caused by a vehicle with a blown turbo and two other vehicles stopping to help
