At 17:37 on Saturday, 1 April, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Tumble dryer fire which was out on arrival of crews. Crews have removed tumble dryer from outbuilding and utility electrics have been isolated. Thermal imaging camera used to check for any hot spots.
