At 19:21 on Monday, 10 April, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Minsterley.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Chimney rods
• Small gear

Fire involving 1 log burning stove with the fire contained to the lined flue. Crews removed log burner and extinguished fire using chimney gear and small tools.
