At 20:25 on Monday, 10 April, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Minsterley.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Minsterley.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Axes/Hammers/Crowbars/Croppers
• Hosereel jet
• Small gear

1 large hollow tree involved in fire. Crews used 1 hose reel jet, saw, axe and small gear to extinguish.
