At 21:20 on Monday, 10 April, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Small fire within the chimney breast consisting of nest and wood. Small gear used to remove debris and thermal imaging camera to check on temperatures.
