At 22:29 on Monday, 8 May, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Winches

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

Fire involving car in field, 100% destroyed by fire, crews used 2 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets and thermal image camera.
