At 13:18 on Wednesday, 24 May, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Small gear

Small vehicle fire out on arrival. Fire involved wiring from additional leisure battery. Small gear used to remove wiring and isolate battery. Advice given to owner of vehicle.
