At 11:00 on Friday, 9 June, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Deep seated fire in undergrowth involving wood chip, approx 5 square metres, crews used one hose reel jet, one lance and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish.
