At 21:39 on Thursday, 6 July, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Fire in undergrowth of hedge including old furniture and rubbish. Deliberate ignition. Crews used 1 hosereel jet to extinguish.
