At 18:21 on Thursday, 13 July, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fence Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

1 fence panel alight and approximately 2 meters of undergrowth alight due to firework.
