At 14:03 on Friday, 14 July, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as LGV Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involved rubbish in a waste disposal lorry, crews extinguished using 1 hose reel jet and a thermal image camera
