At 02:10 on Saturday, 15 July, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Dry powder extinguisher
• Hosereel jet

Fire in airing cupboard caused by electrical fault. Crews extinguished using 1 hosereel jet and dry powder extinguisher
