At 20:49 on Tuesday, 8 August, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Ludlow.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

This incident involved a controlled burn, due to change in wind direction smoke was issuing onto the main road causing traffic issues. Crews extinguished using 1 hose reel jet. Advice was given to the occupiers
