At 20:27 on Sunday, 27 August, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews carried out a further investigation. This incident was deemed a false alarm.
