At 10:52 on Thursday, 31 August, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Prees .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Prees.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Knapsacks

One bonfire which had spread to nearby hedgerow. Crews extinguished using hose reel jet and knapsack.
