At 15:43 on Thursday, 31 August, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Buckets of water
• Chimney rods
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Chimney fire - crews extinguished using buckets of water, chimney rods and small gear, a thermal imaging camera was also in use
