At 08:41 on Monday, 4 September, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Newport.

1 fire appliance including the Rescue Tender was mobilised from Newport and Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Two vehicle collision, two casualties released from vehicles by Fire Service Personnel and one assisted by Ambulance service.
