At 13:34 on Friday, 8 September, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Tractor Fire in Ellesmere .

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Ellesmere and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Knapsacks
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

Tractor and bailer containing hay alight - difficult access.
