At 16:58 on Friday, 8 September, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shifnal .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Fire involving cylinder of BBQ. Crews stood by with one hose reel jet and allowed cylinder to vent off.
