At 16:45 on Wednesday, 13 September, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire in Shrewsbury.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation

Incident involved a small fire in communal area which was out on arrival, crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and a positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish.
