At 17:03 on Thursday, 14 September, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Smoke from chimney caused by build up on Aga, crews have cleared the build up and made a thorough inspection of the chimney.
