At 20:20 on Sunday, 17 September, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Reports of house fire which involved cardboard left on top of toaster in kitchen area. Fire was out of arrival of fire service. Fire crews ventilated property.
