At 23:25 on Sunday, 17 September, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Broseley.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Much Wenlock and Tweedale.

This incident was found to be a false alarm caused by fumes from cooking.
