At 05:06 on Saturday, 23 September, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Tweedale.

Alarm had activated in IT server room, crew investigated and discovered faulty IT equipment had overheated and caused a small fire in a battery unit. This has been removed by fire service personnel.
