At 09:40 on Wednesday, 4 October, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as HGV Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Small fire in back of bin lorry extinguished using 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jet.
