At 10:43 on Monday, 9 October, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Automatic fire alarm activation which proved to be a false alarm caused by fumes from cooking.
