At 20:37 on Monday, 9 October, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as HGV Fire in Ludlow.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Craven Arms and Ludlow.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

1 agricultural JCB smouldering. Crews used 1 hose reel jet to cool engine compartment and 1 thermal imaging camera to carry out thorough check. Advice given to owner.
