At 15:56 on Friday, 13 October, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Church Stretton.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Church Stretton and Craven Arms. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Chimney rods
• Stirrup pump
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident is believed to be a chimney fire, rods and stirrup pump in use
