At 09:16 on Wednesday, 18 October, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Welshpool.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Minsterley.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Electric Saws/Cutters
• Hosereel jet
• Short extension ladder

1 Commercial van fully involved in fire crews extinguished using 2 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jet, a short extension ladder and a REMS cat saw.
