At 12:01 on Friday, 27 October, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire Commercial in Newport.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Newport and Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation

Fire in kitchen. Extinguished using 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet and 1 covering jet.
