At 05:34 on Wednesday, 1 November, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Wellington.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Small fire involving an laptop battery on charge, fire was found to be out upon arrival of Fire Service personnel. Inspection only and advice given regarding disposal.
