At 11:10 on Thursday, 2 November, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Newport.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit and the Rescue Tender were mobilised. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Reports of road traffic collision involving 2 cars. 1 person released from vehicle using Holmatro cutting equipment. Incident left with Police and Ambulance.
