At 18:39 on Saturday, 4 November, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Small gear

Small bonfire in garden- crews extinguished using 1 hose reel jet and small tools due to close proximity to telephone lines
