At 09:43 on Thursday, 9 November, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Shrewsbury, Wellington and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Small gear

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency, the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

RTC involving 2 cars. Small gear used to remove door from vehicle. Both casualties left in care of ambulance crews. Oil spillage being cleared by Highways Agency and incident left in care of Police.
