At 18:05 on Thursday, 9 November, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

This incident was found to be a false alarm with good intent, alarm had activated in the workshop area. Crews have conducted a thorough search of the premises with the assistance of North Wales Fire Service.
