At 12:29 on Saturday, 11 November, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Gas Leak in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Reports of gas leak which proved to be a false alarm caused by cleaning fumes from Chlorine based cleaning solution. Fire crews used gas monitor.
