At 11:45 on Monday, 13 November, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire in Wem.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet

Fire involving brick built garage measuring 10m x 4m fully involved in fire. Fire spread to second garage also measuring 10m x 4m. Extinguished using 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets and covering jet.
