At 13:03 on Wednesday, 15 November, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smell Of Burning in Broseley.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Tweedale.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Full inspection of property carried out by fire service personnel, smell of burning found to be caused by a faulty washing machine.
