At 06:35 on Friday, 17 November, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Shifnal.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Tweedale.

This incident was found to be a false alarm, alarm had activated in premises due to an unknown system fault.
