At 15:05 on Saturday, 18 November, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Bridgnorth.

3 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit and the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Cow stuck in fork of tree by head and legs. After liaising with vet fire crews released cow using Holmatro spreaders
