At 09:13 on Saturday, 25 November, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Roof Fire in Wem.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees and Wem.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Short extension ladder
• Thermal imaging camera
