At 15:29 on Monday, 27 November, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Minsterley.

Reports of a bonfire that was close to a hedge- this incident was a controlled burn involving burning of cardboard in a metal brazier a responsible person was present and advice was given no fire service assistance was needed
